Manage your Qonfido account and data
At Qonfido, we believe your financial data belongs to you. You can access, download, delete, or request deletion of your personal data directly from within the Qonfido app.

Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Qonfido account at any time.
To delete your account:
- Open the Qonfido app.
- Navigate to Profile / Qontext -> Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.
Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion. If you cannot access your account, contact support@qonfido.com for help with an account deletion request.
Delete or Manage Your Data
Qonfido also allows you to manage your data independently of account deletion. These controls are available under Profile / Qontext -> My Data.
- Download your personal data.
- Download your financial data.
- Delete imported financial information.
- Remove linked financial accounts and connections.
- Delete conversation history and other user-generated content where available.
Download Your Data
You may request a copy of your personal and financial data directly from within the app.
To download your data:
- Open the Qonfido app.
- Navigate to Profile / Qontext -> My Data -> Download My Data.
- Select Download My Data.
A copy of your available data will be prepared and made available to you.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
When your account deletion request is processed, Qonfido will delete or disconnect:
- Profile information.
- Authentication credentials.
- Portfolio and financial information stored by Qonfido.
- Preferences and settings.
- AI conversation history.
- Third-party financial connections maintained through Qonfido.
Data We May Retain
Certain records may be retained after account deletion where required for:
- Regulatory compliance.
- Legal obligations.
- Fraud prevention and security investigations.
- Audit and accounting requirements.
- Dispute resolution.
Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for these purposes and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Processing Time
Most deletion requests are processed within 48 hours. Where additional verification, regulatory review, or legal review is required, processing may take longer.
