About the role

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Marketing Lead who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, embraces AI, and can help build a fintech brand from the ground up.

This is not a role for someone looking to manage agencies from a distance. We are looking for a hands-on operator who can think strategically and execute relentlessly.

As one of the earliest marketing hires, you will work directly with the founders and Head of Marketing to drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and growth.

You will be responsible for owning large parts of the marketing engine—from content creation and social media management to campaign execution, performance tracking, and AI-led marketing automation.

What you'll own

Content & Social Media

  • Create and execute the social media content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Use AI tools extensively for content ideation, writing, repurposing, research, scripting, editing, and optimization.
  • Monitor trends, conversations, memes, cultural moments, and fintech developments to identify content opportunities.
  • Develop founder-led content strategies and personal branding initiatives.
  • Convert long-form content into multiple short-form formats.
  • Track engagement metrics and continuously improve content performance.

AI-Driven Marketing Operations

  • Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney, Canva AI, Opus Clip, and other emerging platforms.
  • Build AI workflows that improve productivity across content, reporting, research, campaign management, and customer engagement.
  • Create prompts, templates, and automation systems to scale marketing output without scaling headcount.

Video & Creative Production

  • Coordinate with videographers and content creators.
  • Own content production from brief creation to final delivery.
  • Develop scripts, storyboards, hooks, thumbnails, and creative concepts.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice across all visual and written communication.

Performance Marketing Coordination

  • Work closely with media buying teams.
  • Track campaign performance across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other channels.
  • Assist with creative testing, landing page optimization, messaging refinement, and funnel improvements.

Community & Customer Insights

  • Monitor customer conversations across social media, communities, app reviews, and feedback channels.
  • Identify emerging customer needs and pain points.
  • Surface actionable insights to founders, product teams, and marketing leadership.
  • Build systems for gathering and organizing customer intelligence.

Campaign Execution

  • Support product launches, feature launches, partnerships, and brand campaigns.
  • Coordinate execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure timelines, deliverables, and performance goals are met.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain weekly and monthly marketing dashboards.
  • Generate insights and recommendations for founders.
  • Track key growth metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Within the first 6 months, you should be able to:

  • Establish a consistent content engine.
  • Increase organic social reach and engagement.
  • Create repeatable AI-powered workflows.
  • Improve content production speed significantly.
  • Build strong coordination between content, media, and product teams.
  • Deliver measurable contribution to awareness, acquisition, and engagement metrics.

Who you are

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and internet culture.
  • Obsessed with content, storytelling, and audience behavior.
  • Highly proficient with AI tools and willing to experiment constantly.
  • Comfortable working directly with founders.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Data-driven and analytical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Naturally curious and proactive.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Based in Mumbai or willing to work hybrid from Mumbai (required).

Bonus points

  • Fintech experience or B2C experience, or both.
  • Creator economy experience.
  • Personal content creation experience.
  • Experience managing influencer collaborations.
  • Basic design skills (Canva/Figma).
  • Video editing knowledge.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools.
