It’s easier than ever to invest. You can search for mutual funds, compare returns, watch videos, read articles and get opinions just about anywhere. But eventually the questions become personal. “Is this the right fund for me?”, “How is my portfolio doing?” “Am I saving enough for my goals?”. There’s a lot of financial data in the world, but what most investors only really require is a clarity around their own money, a way to actually understand their mutual fund portfolio, not just watch the numbers move. And this is how QONFIDO was born.

Our founders, Vikram Dani and Vasant Viswanathan, had spent years in financial markets and technology, and kept coming back to the same problem: Investors had access to more information than ever, but it was still hard to understand what that information meant for them personally. We didn’t want to make another platform that just told people where to invest next. We wanted to create a place where they could ask questions about their own investments, know what they actually own and get answers within the context of their own financial journey. Not another comparison tool, but a personalised response.
